Liquid Nitrogen Reflux Refrigerator (LNRRM) is a low-temperature refrigerator that uses liquid nitrogen as a refrigerant. Its working principle is to utilize the Joule Thomson effect, which refers to the cooling of gas when it expands through a valve or multi hole plug. In LNRRM, liquid nitrogen evaporates and expands through nozzles or multi hole plugs, thereby cooling it. Then, the cold gas passes through a heat exchanger, where it cools the object or material that needs to be cooled. Then, the cold gas returns to the nozzle or multi hole plug, where it expands again and repeats the cycle. LNRRM is typically used for scientific research applications, such as low-temperature physics and materials science. It is also used for the production of superconducting materials and cooling of electronic components, such as infrared detectors and high-power laser diodes. One advantage of LNRRM is that it can achieve very low temperatures, typically in the range of 60-80 K (-213 to -193 掳 C or -351 to -316 掳 F), making it suitable for many applications that require extremely low temperatures.
