

A high-temperature fuel cell (HTFC) is a type of fuel cell that operates at a high temperature, typically above 500掳C (932掳F). HTFCs have several advantages over low-temperature fuel cells, including higher efficiency, faster reaction rates, and better tolerance to impurities in the fuel.
There are several types of HTFCs, including solid oxide fuel cells (SOFCs), molten carbonate fuel cells (MCFCs), and high-temperature proton exchange membrane fuel cells (HT-PEMFCs).
High-temperature proton exchange membrane fuel cells (HT-PEMFCs) are a relatively new type of fuel cell that uses a polymer electrolyte membrane that can operate at high temperatures up to 200掳C (392掳F). HT-PEMFCs has the potential to be used in a wide range of applications, including transportation and stationary power generation.
