This voltage signal can be further processed and measured by a measuring instrument or device connected to the clamp current transformer. The advantages of clamp-on current transformers include non-contact measurement, easy installation and operation, ability to measure a wide range of currents, high accuracy and precision, etc. They are widely used in power system monitoring and protection, power quality analysis, power meter calibration and other fields.
