A parallel hybrid vehicle is a vehicle that combines an internal combustion engine and an electric motor, by configuring the two power sources in parallel so that they can work independently or in tandem to power the vehicle. This system design allows the vehicle to run primarily on the electric motor at low speeds or when starting, resulting in zero emissions and quiet driving, while the internal combustion engine intervenes at high speeds or when accelerating to provide additional power to improve overall performance. In addition, the electric motor can also recover kinetic energy during deceleration or braking, converting it into electrical energy and storing it in the battery, thereby improving energy efficiency.
