Nanoimprint technology is a new type of micro-nano processing technology. This technology achieves ultra-high resolution through mechanical transfer, and is expected to replace traditional lithography technology in the future and become an important processing method in the fields of microelectronics and materials
Nanoimprint technology is divided into three steps. The first step is the processing of the template. Generally, electron beam etching and other means are used to process the required structure on silicon or other substrates as a template. Since the diffraction limit of electrons is much smaller than that of photons, a resolution much higher than that of lithography can be achieved. The second step is the transfer of the pattern. Apply photoresist on the surface of the material to be processed, then press the template on the surface, and transfer the pattern to the photoresist by means of pressure. Note that the photoresist cannot be completely removed to prevent direct contact between the template and the material and damage the template. The third step is the processing of the substrate. Use ultraviolet light to cure the photoresist. After removing the template, etch away the photoresist that was not completely removed in the previous step with an etching solution to expose the surface of the material to be processed, and then use chemical etching to process. After completion All photoresist is removed, and finally a high-precision processed material is obtained.
