The system is a closed unit and it maintains a controlled atmosphere as the test progresses. The system uses a high temperature heater to measure shrinkage rate and shrinkage force. The heater can be programmed to 350˚C to run the test independently according to the PID logic. (Optional customized high temperature heater up to 450˚C) The standard load cell is 1000 grams, and the customer can define the force in cN according to the type of yarn to be tested (the force accessory is optional).
