Automobile solid state relay is a contactless relay whose semiconductor control load flows through solid state switch. The input terminal is an optocoupler composed of semiconductor circuits such as light-emitting diodes, phototransistors, and power crystals. The internal control circuit triggers the silicon-controlled rectifier (SCR) at the output terminal ) or a bidirectional silicon-controlled rectifier (TRIAC) to conduct the load current, so it can accept the low-voltage DC or AC signal input, and then conduct the high-voltage and high-power output current, which has the effect of isolating the input and output and controlling the high-power output current. Switches more frequently, quieter and faster than mechanical relays, especially for applications in buses and trucks, agricultural vehicles and construction machinery, special vehicles and passenger cars.
