Cisco launched the SiliconOne G200/G202 series of network chips for AI supercomputers in June 2023. The G200 has a switching capacity of 51.2Tbps and a port rate of 800G. Although the G202 has the same features as the G200, its switching performance is halved. The G200 uses a 5nm process technology with strong controllability and programmability, which improves the flexibility of usage scenarios. In August 2022, Broadcom released the industry's first commercial 51.2T capacity switching chip Tomahawk 5, which uses a 5nm process and is manufactured by TSMC. It uses a Monolithic bare die package and consumes less than 1W per 100Gbps.
